Welcome to Round Table Hermanus 267 |
|
Round Table Hermanus 267 was chartered in 1994 by Somerset West 61 and became a full associate member of the Western Province Area and Round Table International. Since it's inception, membership has grown and currently stands at a total of 14 active members.
Although the Table supports various charities in and around
Hermanus, it's main focus has always been on improving the life of
children in our community.
Funds are raised through various events, including the annual
Arabella Golf Day and the most prestigious Pinotage
Auction. The Pinotage Auction is now in it's 11th year
and has proved to be the biggest fundraising event for Hermanus Round
Table. In 2004, the Pinotage Auction raised a staggering R124
000.00, the biggest amount ever for an event by Hermanus Round Table.

centennial banquet.
Zelihle Creches
BALLS OF DELIGHT Members from Hermanus Round Table visited crèches in the Zwelihle area during December with some
Christmas gifts. The soccer balls are just a small indication of
Hermanus Round Tables commitment to the education of underprivileged
children in the area. Seen here at the Masibulele crèche with some
of the children are (front from left) Tablers Pierre Joubert and Jaques
du Toit and educare teacher Cynthia Mcinjana.
Hockey Tour
Round the world with Round Table. Hermanus Round Table 267 donated
a cheque of R5000 for the Hermanus High School’s hockey tour to
Argentina. Seen here Jacques du Toit, chairman (left) are Sebastine
Pretorius (tour coordinator) and John Leppan.
Hermanus NSRI
The Hemanus NSRI station was recently favoured with a generous cheque of R4 064 from the Hermanus 267 for computer equipment urgently needed for operations. Receiving the cheque from Chairman, Jacques du Toit (right) are Kevin Davies (centre, Overberg Computers) and Adrian Louw (left, NSRI committee).
